Hello! I’m
Sarah Tiwana
I am an Account Executive at Bostrom
Program Development & Engagement | Strategic Thinker | Communicator
I currently serve as Executive Director to the Wallcoverings Association and Program Director to the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists. In my roles I develop organizational strategies, provide oversight to key strategic initiatives, work to identify opportunities to optimize membership engagement, create processes and procedures, manage various program initiatives, and serve as point of contact to our Board of Directors. The best part of my job is engaging with organizational leaders and volunteers to create impacts through program development or strategic planning initiatives. Seeing the progress and impacts come out of strong collaboration and partnership is incredible!
My Background
My passion for being part of something greater than myself has served as a constant motivator to create large impacts through existing resources and demonstrate the positive outcomes of robust collaboration. With over 8 years of experience in the non-profit/association management space I have cultivated my operational skills to build volunteer engagement and develop programs to carry out the mission and vision of organizations I have worked with. Prior to working at Bostrom I worked for two other association management companies and a domestic violence advocacy agency. I have worked on volunteer engagement programs and strategies to increase membership and elevate the membership experience, developed optimized board orientation guides and onboarding trainings, and worked on strategic planning, tracking, and operationalization activities. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Loyola University Chicago.

I love building Ikea or out of the box furniture! If you need help- I’m your person. I find the whole process very satisfying- I have always wanted to learn carpentry but this is the closest I’ve ever gotten!
