Sara Dethloff

I am the Certification and Continuing Education Manager with AASECT. I assist with overseeing the CE program, intaking new certification applications, and managing the abstract, speaker, and education management for the Annual Conference. I am very eager to learn and am a dedicated young professional with a passion for working with people to improve their businesses and lives.

My Background

I have worked in the association management industry for five years after attaining my degree from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in May 2018. After gaining valuable experience understanding the needs of external customers and internal clients, I transitioned into the role of Education Coordinator after two and a half years in Operations. After a year of bringing education to the association members, I transitioned into Education Manager. I am a member of Association Forum and ASAE where I engage in professional development learning opportunities to further my association knowledge.
