Hey! I’m 
Michael Golak

I joined Bostrom in 2017 and have nearly 10 years of accounting experience. I oversee Bostrom’s accounting operations, while focusing on making our day-to-day accounting responsibilities as efficient as possible. In addition to training volunteer treasurers about not–for–profit accounting, I also prepare and review our clients’ financial statements, as well as assist in our client budgeting processes.

My Background

Prior to joining the Bostrom team, I was an accountant at a small tax-based accounting firm in Chicago. I graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelor of Science in Business, specializing in accountancy. In my free time I manage a recreational basketball team.
