Hi! I’m
Kellie Braband
I am an Account Executive at Bostrom
Committed to Diversity & Inclusion | Strategic Thinker | Problem Solver
As an Account Executive at Bostrom, I provide leadership, strategic direction, and oversight of my client organizations. In my current roles as Executive Director of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and the Account Executive for the Women in Sports and Events (WISE), I work closely with my clients’ Boards of Directors to promote their organizational missions and visions, as well as providing leadership, strategic direction, and oversight of finances, programs, marketing, and events. Additionally, I partner with committee chairs, members, staff, and vendors to establish creative, innovative, and personalized solutions tied to strategic goals.
I thrive on collaboration, teamwork, and creative problem solving with the goal of continually improving processes, driving organizational revenue, and fostering growth. I am passionate about creating events, spaces, environments, and organizations that are welcoming and inclusive.
My Background
Prior to joining the Bostrom team, I had experience managing organizations/programs/projects, growing small businesses, and using market research to grow brands & organizations. My background as a musician has driven my spirit of curiosity, problem solving and lifelong learning. I love gathering information about people, places, ideas, and processes and understanding how they all fit together. A combination of positivity, communication, and empathy defines my leadership style.
I earned my bachelor’s degree at The University of Illinois Chicago and recently completed Northwestern University’s Certificate Program in Leading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. My Clifton Strengths Top 5 are: Harmony, Positivity, Developer, Input, & Communication.
