Hi! I’m
Katie Keel, MPA, CAE
Vice President, Client Leadership
Creative Thinker | Authentic | Team Developer
I bring more than 25 years of association and nonprofit management experience to my role at Bostrom. As Vice President, Client Leadership, I oversee strategic client relationships, advisor alignment, and leadership consistency across Bostrom’s client portfolio. In this role, I am central to strengthening client partnerships, driving long-term value, and ensuring clients experience Bostrom as a proactive, trusted advisor.
In addition to my vice president responsibilities, I serve as Executive Director for two clients: the Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine and the Legal Value Network. I forge close partnerships with Boards of Directors and senior leaders, guiding organizations to make data-driven decisions grounded in best practices in association management.
I am known for leading teams efficiently and effectively, empowering team members to leverage their individual strengths in service of client missions. The most rewarding part of my work is partnering with association leaders to help their organizations succeed and equipping client leaders with the tools, insight, and confidence they need to be effective in their roles.
My Background
Prior to joining the Bostrom team, I was an account executive at Administrative Systems, Inc., an association management company that was acquired by Bostrom in 2013. In the early 2000s, I journeyed from AmeriCorps Promise Fellow to Executive Director in the ten years I lived in Portland, Oregon where I was part of a team of business and state government leaders who founded a statewide nonprofit organization to help at-risk youth. I received my Master of Public Administration from Portland State University with an emphasis in nonprofit management and the Certified Association Executive credential from ASAE. I am a member of the Association Forum of Chicago and the American Society of Association Executives.
