Hi! I’m
Courtney Fowler

I am a Content Marketing Manager at Bostrom

Storyteller | Writer | Digital Media

People connect with stories, and as a communications professional for over 15 years, I love to bring the storytelling process to life. I enjoy helping people and organizations tell their stories, and then elevate their message in creative ways. The constant changes to the digital landscape have leveled the field so great stories will find a way to get told and shared. I strongly believe the secret is using digital marketing to connect great stories with their key audience and then everyone wins!

My Background

Prior to joining the Bostrom team, I was a communications team lead for a Native American owned federal contractor in Alexandria, VA, and worked with Tribal nations across the country. I attended Kansas State University and received my BA in Economics and Political Science. I also have a Certificate in Technical Writing from California State-Fullerton, and recently completed a Digital Marketing Certification from Kansas State University and ThriveDX.

Beyond Bostrom

My Interests

Walking in DC
Native American Art
Traveling

I could talk for days about

Finding deals and saving money

You wouldn’t know if you didn’t ask

I am an enrolled member of the Muscogee-Creek Nation of Oklahoma and also Cherokee on my mom’s side. And even though I dislike gardening, I am helping my mom with her heirloom seed garden using traditional Cherokee seeds distributed by the tribal seedbank as a way to preserve the Cherokee heritage and learn more about my people and our family history. Growing traditional corn, beans and other plants has been culturally enlightening for me. I’m still learning new things.
