Hi! I’m Josie Hernandez
I am an Account Executive at Bostrom
Association Executive | Strategic Advisor | Leadership Builder
I help associations and nonprofit organizations strengthen governance, engage members, develop leaders, and execute strategies that drive long-term success.
With more than a decade in association management, I partner with boards and volunteer leaders to navigate complex challenges, align priorities, and transform ideas into action. My expertise includes strategic planning, organizational development, membership growth, financial stewardship, governance, and volunteer leadership.
I am passionate about building strong organizations and even stronger leaders. Whether facilitating strategic discussions, guiding governance decisions, or creating operational efficiencies, I thrive on bringing structure to complexity and helping organizations achieve meaningful impact.
My Background
With more than a decade of experience in association management, I have partnered with boards, volunteer leaders, and staff teams to advance organizational goals, strengthen governance, and enhance member engagement. Prior to joining Bostrom, I worked with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, supporting volunteer-led communities and strategic initiatives.
I am a graduate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Institute for Organization Management (IOM) program and a passionate advocate for leadership development, diversity, and inclusion. As co-founder of Association Latinos, I am committed to advancing Latino leadership and creating opportunities for emerging professionals within the association community.
