Kellie Braband, CAE

As Vice President of Client Services at Bostrom, I am responsible for advancing operational excellence and service consistency to deliver a seamless, high-quality experience across Bostrom’s client portfolio. I work in close partnership with Bostrom’s strategic management team to develop and implement the organization’s strategic plan, translating long-term vision into clear and actionable priorities. My role focuses on building strong teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring service delivery aligns with both client expectations and organizational goals.

In addition to my Vice President responsibilities, I serve as Executive Director of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and as Senior Account Executive for Women in Sports and Events (WISE). In these roles, I work closely with Boards of Directors to support and advance each organization’s mission and vision, offering leadership and strategic oversight across finance, programs, marketing, and events. I am focused on building strong partnerships and guiding organizations toward sustainable growth, meaningful impact, and long-term success.

With a strong commitment to fostering connection and collaboration, I work with dynamic teams to transform passion into mission-advancing outcomes through creative thinking, thoughtful problem-solving, and transparent communication that builds trust. I am passionate about creating events, spaces, and organizations that are welcoming, inclusive, and designed for meaningful engagement.

My Background

Prior to joining Bostrom, I built a diverse background managing organizations, programs, and complex projects; growing small businesses; and leveraging market research to strengthen brands and drive organizational growth. My foundation as a musician has shaped my curiosity, creative problem-solving skills, and commitment to lifelong learning. I am energized by gathering insights about people, ideas, and processes, and connecting them in ways that lead to clarity, innovation, and progress.

My leadership style is grounded in positivity, clear communication, and empathy, enabling me to build trust, foster collaboration, and support teams in doing their best work.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Chicago, the Certified Association Executive Credential (CAE) from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), and completed Northwestern University’s Certificate Program in Leading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. I am an active member of the Association Forum of Chicago and the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), and I was selected as an ASAE Diversity Executive Leadership Program (DELP) Scholar for the 2023–2025 cohort.
