Hi! I’m
Rachel Schuster-Simmons
I am a Deputy Director at Bostrom
Compassionate Communicator | Developer | Problem Solver
I joined Bostrom in July 2025, serving as Deputy Director for two clients, the Legal Value Network (LVN) and the National Society of Compliance Professionals (NSCP). In this role, I am responsible for the day-to-day operations, including governance support, membership engagement, and program management. I work closely with volunteer leaders to implement strategic initiatives, streamline processes, and deliver value to members.
My Background
I bring over five years of experience in the association management industry, with a strong background in Board Management and Strategic Planning. Before joining the Bostrom team, I served as Deputy Executive Director for multiple healthcare associations, where I led key strategic initiatives and oversaw day-to-day operations. Earlier in my career, I worked in International Development with a focus on global health advocacy, which has shaped my commitment to cross-cultural collaboration.
I earned my B.A. in International Studies and Political Science from Southern Nazarene University, graduating magna cum laude. I am an active member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and currently serve on its NextGen Advisory Committee. I believe deeply in the power of associations to drive meaningful change and foster strong communities.

I play the banjo. What began as a joke among friends to learn a new instrument turned into a real hobby.
