Ryan Fiero

I started as a temp with Bostrom and joined the Wallcoverings Association team, where I proceeded to learn more about wallcoverings than I ever thought I would. A couple months in, I also joined the Expanded Shale, Clay, and Slate Institute and the Southeast Concrete Mason’s Association teams, where I once again spent time learning about various building materials. I spend my time for clients not just doing paperwork and making phone calls, but learning about them, their business, what really makes their organization go. There’s always something new and interesting to learn!

My Background

I entered college with a definite idea of what I wanted to do. Which I then changed four times. I graduated with a BS in Psychology and one in Behavioral Science, then went on to obtain a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. Proceeding then to not use any of those, I worked a variety of customer-facing jobs for several years. After time spent in various retail and food service jobs, I finally found myself working first as a volunteer, then full time in a nonprofit community theater. There I found a love for making a difference, and when I moved to Chicago I held a temporary position working for a nature nonprofit before finally finding Bostrom. Now I use my customer and people skills to provide stellar service to all of our clients.
