I am an Associate at Bostrom
Member Engagement, Environmental Sustainability, Organization and Planning
As a recent college graduate, I bring a new generation of ideas and innovation to Bostrom. I handle all things membership for two clients, and make sure that our members receive the help they need quickly! This includes database management, correspondence with the leaders of the association, processing member applications, registration for member benefit events, and much more. I run the behind-the-scenes membership operations for both the Society for Academic Continuing Medical Education (SACME) and the Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine (AAAM). By supporting our Account Executives, Marketing, and Meetings Teams, I can learn about and work in the entire process of Association management. Supporting them helps our operations run smoothly, and in return helps the Association grow!
Prior to joining the Bostrom team, I was the Community Organizer for a Single-Payer Healthcare campaign in Chicago, and the Intern for Edgewater Environmental Coalition. Having worked on the other side of two different non-profits, I gained a vast knowledge of the operations of non-profit work and how to run these organizations. Having held these positions in a fully remote format during the pandemic, I also gained invaluable experience of how to work with people across the country on social justice work. In addition to these, I’ve also worked as an Essay Tutor for Paper, as well as in countless customer service positions over the course of 6 years including Kohler Hospitality and Hilton Properties. In the spring of 2022, I received my Bachelor of Environmental Policy from Loyola University Chicago, and early next year I will finish my Master of Public Policy from Loyola Chicago Graduate School.
