Hey! I’m
Kate Fries
I am a Business and Meetings Manager at Bostrom
Event Logistics | Creative Problem Solving | Organization
I bring several years of association meeting management and event planning experience to the Bostrom team. Serving as a manager on several client events, I apply my creativity, organization skills, and client-first mindset to my day-to-day work at Bostrom.
I have experience handling conference logistics including speaker and registration management, coordinating timelines and producing event materials. As clients have shifted to virtual events, I’ve also played a large role in coordinating these transitions which has given me a wide knowledge of virtual event platforms, technology troubleshooting, and virtual program logistics.
My Background
Prior to joining Bostrom, I began my career at a large retail corporation working in the Visual Marketing department. I later transitioned into meeting planning for a mathematics association. With a Hospitality Management degree from Ohio State University, I am familiar with all components of conference production and customer service. I am originally from Columbus, OH but now call Washington, DC home. I am also a proud member of the American Society of Association Executives.
