I am an associate for the meetings team at Bostrom. I assist with the preparation of meeting materials as well as venue research. Although I’m new to meeting management and the association world, I am very eager to learn. I hope to eventually progress my career within meetings and become a Certified Meeting Professional.

My Background

Prior to joining the Bostrom team, I taught English at a school in Prague, Czech Republic for a few months. This was not so much due to a passion for teaching, but more so for an opportunity to live abroad again and travel. I attended George Washington University and received my degree in International Affairs with a concentration in Contemporary Cultures & Societies, as well a double major in Psychology. My work experience throughout those university years were mostly in customer service, fundraising, and administrative office support.

I was born in Cuba, to Cuban and Czech parents, and mostly grew up in a small town in North Carolina. This funky Southern/Latina/Eastern European mix definitely sparked my passion for culture, language, and travel.
