Chicago – February 9, 2015 – Bostrom, an agile association management firm, announced today that Cynthia Keillor, account executive, earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE®) designation from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). The CAE is the highest professional credential in the association industry.

Keillor, a long-time Bostrom team member, has significant experience in not-for-profit management, working with industries including allied health, marketing, human resources and professional services. In particular, she has extensive experience in the areas of financial and organizational management, chapter and member services and meeting and education management. A graduate of Boston University where she earned a B.A. in Economics, Ms. Keillor is a member of the Association Forum of Chicagoland and the American Society of Association Executives.
Certified Association Executives have a minimum of three years’ experience with non-profit organization management, complete a minimum of 100 hours of specialized professional development, pass a stringent examination in association management, and pledge to uphold a code of ethics. To maintain the certification, individuals must undertake ongoing professional development and activities in association and nonprofit management. More than 4,000 association professionals currently hold the CAE credential. The CAE Program is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
