Role at Bostrom
Mik Bauer has worked with a variety of clients in the professional and medical fields. His emphasis now is with trade associations in the housing and bioscience industries. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the National Association of Housing Cooperatives and the Director of Administration for the International Biometric Society. He has experience working with boards, committees, consultants, certification program management, managing large international membership chapters as well as educational programming and meeting planning. His primary focus is to strengthen board governance and provide effective communication with members and prospective members, consumers and other industry professionals. Additionally, he delivers a strong emphasis on membership support, volunteer management and communication development services.
With Bostrom since 2011, Mik successfully completed ASAE’s certificate program in Association Management for continuing education at Harper College in Illinois. Previously a Corporate Trainer with Caribou Coffee Company, Mik served as the industry’s management certification instructor, franchise trainer and employee development supervisor. He studied Business Administration and earned his Associate Degree in Business from Tulsa Community College.
