ASSOCIATION AWARD RECOGNIZES THE CREATIVITY OF 'INTERLOCKING' PHOTOGRAPHY WITH A COMPELLING STORY

WASHINGTON, DC, January 24, 2003 - -A picture is worth a thousand words, and Bostrom Corporation has been recognized by Association Trends magazine for the superior quality and creativity they demonstrated in using photography to tell the story of the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI).

Bostrom Corporation developed and produced the 200-page book, Patios, Driveways, and Plazas - The Pattern Language of Concrete Pavers, to help ICPI and its members educate architects, engineers, landscape architects, contractors, and homeowners on the endless uses of concrete pavers in residential and commercial projects. The book features over 300 color photos to explain various paver patterns, and to provide ideas and inspiration for the use of segmental concrete pavement systems.

The Association Trends "2002 Excellence in Association Publications - Book or Manual" Award was presented to Bostrom Corporation and ICPI on January 17, 2003 by Jill Martineau Cornish, President and Publisher of Association Trends magazine. Dave Smith, ICPI's Technical Director, was also on-hand during presentation of the award.

David Smith, Technical Director of the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute, accepted the award on behalf of Bostrom.
