Chicago, January 18, 2005 – Bostrom Corp. today announced the appointment of Jeanne Sheehy to chief marketing officer (CMO). As CMO, Sheehy will drive the strategic direction and implementation of both Bostrom Corporation and Bostrom Consulting Associates (BCA) marketing and communications programs. In addition, she will continue to lead department management for client services involving integrated marketing strategies including branding, member marketing, public relations and related programs for Bostrom’s client base. Prior to her appointment, Sheehy served as director of marketing and alliances.

“Incorporating integrated marketing strategies to our core strengths of strategic planning and association management has greatly enhanced our management, outsourcing, and consulting offerings,” says Randy Lindner, Bostrom’s newly appointed president.

In addition to implementing Bostrom’s own marketing and communication strategy, Sheehy will retain responsibilities as marketing director for two of Bostrom’s clients, The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and the Tile Roofing Institute (TRI). Sheehy has implemented integrated marketing plans for both clients, which have included new branding initiatives, redesigned Web sites with content management systems (CMS), non-dues revenue generation programming, and membership growth initiatives, to name a few.

“Bostrom has a fantastic story to tell,” said Sheehy. “They have a rich history, incredible people, strong client partnerships, and continue to provide personalized solutions due to their flexibility and adaptive environment to technological advancements, market trends, and the ever-changing needs of our clients.”

Sheehy joined Bostrom’s team in 2003, bringing eight years experience in the high technology industry working for start-up and larger, publicly owned software organizations and seven years in consumer packaging and promotion.

Sheehy earned her B.S. in business administration from the University of Missouri and an M.B.A. from Rockhurst University. Sheehy is an active member of the Association Forum and the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).
