Bruce E. Balfe Joins Bostrom Consulting Associates  

 

CHICAGO – April 23, 2010 -- Bostrom Consulting Associates, Bostrom’s consulting arm, is proud to announce the addition of Bruce E. Balfe to its consulting practice.  A nationally recognized planning, governance and assessment expert, Balfe brings more than 35 years of healthcare and medical industry expertise.

“Bruce brings a wealth of experience to Bostrom and is very well known by the entire medical community,” said Ken Monroe, chairman and chief executive officer, Bostrom.

Prior to joining Bostrom, Balfe was Vice President of Strategic Planning for the American Medical Association where he worked for more than 35 years.  He is a member of The Planning Forum, American Society of Association Executives and American Association of Medical Society Executives, (AAMSE), where he served on the Board and chaired its Futures Trends Committee. In addition, he chaired AAMSE’s Health Policy Committee, which sponsored an Expert Summit on the Quality of Medical Care.  Balfe is active in the Institute for the Future and has made several presentations to various medical groups on strategic planning and issue analysis.
