Bostrom Management Chosen by the Expanded Shale, Clay, and Slate Institute

CHICAGO – (February 10, 2009) – ESCSI, The international trade association for manufacturers of rotary kiln-produced expanded shale, clay and slate lightweight aggregate, has selected Bostrom to provide overall strategic management – including governance, marketing, IT and web site initiatives – for the organization.

“We chose Bostrom because of its existing expertise in the building and construction industry as well as its successful track record managing and growing associations,” said John Ries, president of ESCSI.  “And along with its expertise, the Bostrom team’s passion and commitment is a terrific fit for us,” he said.

Jeanne Sheehy will serve as ESCSI’s Executive Director, based in Bostrom’s Chicago headquarters.

“We’re delighted to put our manufacturing and association management expertise to work for ESCSI,” said Randy Lindner, president, Bostrom.  “Through our Bostrom Plus program we were able to kick off the relationship with a strategic planning session so staff and leadership are all on the same page and focused on shared goals. This has been a very successful strategy for us with all of our associations,” said Lindner.
