BOSTROM ANNOUNCES JEANNE SHEEHY AS NEW TILE ROOFING INSTITUTE MANAGING DIRECTOR
Chicago, Ill. – Bostrom Corporation, one of the leading professional services firms for non-profit associations, today announced the appointment of Jeanne Sheehy as the new managing director for the Tile Roofing Institute (TRI) effective July 1, 2006. The appointment follows the transition of Bostrom’s Charles McGrath, CAE, to TRI’s senior advisor. McGrath will also serve as the full time executive director to the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute.
“TRI is well known for its technical expertise and our challenge has been to enhance our efforts on the marketing side,” said Mike Penny, Chairman of the Board of TRI. “ Jeanne brings the association management experience coupled with strong marketing skills to lead our strategic objectives.”
Sheehy has worked with TRI for nearly three years as director of marketing and managed the implementation of the Institute’s name change, new web site, certification program launch, membership and marketing strategy. Sheehy will take on the governance, budget management and board liaison responsibilities. Rick Olson will continue to serve as TRI technical director and serve as spokesperson on behalf of TRI members for code and standard bodies.
“It’s an honor to work with an organization that represents such a great product in such an exciting, growing market,” said Sheehy. “I look forward to working with all of TRI’s members to support and increase the use of tile roofing systems in North America.”
Bostrom provides TRI with comprehensive management including marketing, IT, finance, governance, leadership support and strategic planning. More information about Bostrom can be found at www.bostrom.com.
