BartonTrethewayBarton Tretheway is a consulting partner with Bostrom Consulting Associates (BCA). For the past 22 years Tretheway has helped not-for-profit organizations in strategic planning, management and development. He has worked with small privately-held firms, Fortune 500 companies and non-profits. He is a recognized expert in educational, financial, manufacturing, medical, media, packaged goods, retail, service, technology, telecommunication, and transportation industries.

Tretheway joined BCA in 2001, bringing with him more than 12 years years of consulting and training experience such as developing growth plans and marketing strategies, defining new product and service concepts and assisting marketing professionals to more effectively link and align their efforts to corporate strategy. He has assisted a regional telecom company in implementing its new product process through a series of cross-functional teaming workshops, which was delivered in a highly interactive environment utilizing company-specific cases. Additionally, he led the delivery of a series of innovation workshops for an international packaged foods firm. More recently, Tretheway has helped an educational services organization increase revenue by refocusing its development strategies and efforts and has helped a national news media organization develop new services to support its brand positioning, which resulted in increased readership

Tretheway earned his M.B.A. from Indiana University and received a B.S. degree from California State University – Chico.
