Bostrom is a professional services firm offering comprehensive management, consulting and outsourcing to the not-for-profit community. For more than eight decades Bostrom has provided associations with the solutions they need to grow, stabilize, redirect, consolidate and meet challenging goals.

With its rich history comes a reputation of stability, trust and success and Bostrom continues to live up to others’ expectations year after year. Through the years Bostrom has provided services to countless organizations, big and small, and remains a cutting-edge professional services firm with one simple mission: To build successful organizations and enhance value for clients through trust, experience, personalized service and solutions.

Throughout the Years

1932

Storms & Wescott was established and one of the first tenants of the Tribune Tower. During the depression, this was one of the few firms that provided administrative services to associations.

1965

Glenn W. Bostrom, a leader in the industry, acquired Storms & Wescott in 1965 and renamed it to Bostrom Management shortly after.

1976

Bostrom opened a branch office in Monterey, California with a focus on event management and established Monterey Convention and Exhibit Services, a full service exhibit decorating company.

1982

Bostrom expanded its scope by opening a branch office in Washington, DC.

1996

Robert E Becker, JD, CAE succeeded Mr. Bostrom as President and CEO. Over the years both Bostrom and Becker were recipients of numerous management awards. What Bostrom began in the 1960s, Becker continued and grew into the 21st century.

2000

Bostrom’s Ken Monroe is named President and CEO.

2002

Bostrom establishes its subsidiary, Bostrom Consulting Associate (BCA).

2004

Randy Lindner was appointed President of the company, while Monroe retained the position of CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Combined, Monroe and Lindner have more than 60 years of association leadership experience.

2008

Bostrom acquired Clarion Management Resources, Inc., and its portfolio of health care and trade associations.

2011

Bostrom’s Chicago office relocates to current location on 35 E Wacker Dr., Chicago, IL 60601. This new location provides Bostrom and its clients amenities including a new board room, building conference rooms, and an easy access location.

2012

Bostrom celebrates 80 years of expertise in the Association Management industry.
